What do you want to know more about?

I want to know more about slang and how it changed in the last 10 years. I want to find this information out because When I talk to older people they may laugh at the way I would speak slang and also the younger kids to. If I knew the differences between years then it would not be that difficult to find out there age range.

My Language Beliefs

What do you believe in language. I believe language makes you. "YOU"!! Language is nothing to be ashamed of. The way you speak and what you speak is you. It shows what you learned and maybe How you learned.

I have been in a speech contest recently. The audience believed that I was very intellegent because I spoke appropiately and proper. But when I am around my friends or people that knows me very well I tend to speak more loosely or as others will call it slang or just plain ebonics.
